BD Domain Rules to Know Before You Buy
A .bd domain works differently from .com or .net. BTCL is the official registry, identity verification is mandatory, and Pro Cloudify registers your name through an authorized BTCL reseller.
Documents within 3 days
Upload your documents in the Pro Cloudify portal within 3 days of ordering. If they are missing, false or out of date, the domain is suspended or cancelled and the payment is not refunded.
Reserved and prohibited names
You cannot register names that are: restricted by law, geographical areas (e.g., 'dhaka.bd', 'bangladesh.bd'), direct govt agency names, offensive terms, or deceptively similar to namespaces (e.g., 'comm.bd').
No domain reselling
Domain flipping, resale, or monetization is strictly prohibited in protected namespaces including .org.bd, .id.bd, .edu.bd, and area domains.
No WHOIS privacy
